Located inside Tokyo DisneySea Park, the hotel is filled with the magic of Disney. The hotel has three distinct sides, each offering a different view and ambience. Guest rooms are categorized by the side where they are located.

The first hotel to be built inside a Disney Park in Japan, the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta opened on September 4, 2001, coinciding with the Grand Opening of Tokyo DisneySea Park. The Disney Park and hotel are located within Tokyo Disney Resort and are adjacent to the popular Tokyo Disneyland Park..
The Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta affords guests the unique opportunity of spending the night inside a Disney Park in Japan. Standing dramatically at the entrance to Mediterranean Harbor, one of the seven themed ports of call within Tokyo DisneySea Park, the hotel captures the ambience of old-world Italy and offers luxury accommodations and amenities, including world-class restaurants, Disney-themed shops, a pool and spa, banquet rooms and wedding facilities.
The hotel’s name, “MiraCosta” is Italian for “view of the coast.” In keeping with its name, many of the hotel’s 502 rooms provide guests with impressive views of Mediterranean Harbor and the waters of Tokyo Bay beyond. The hotel’s elegant European design reflects the romance of an Italian villa, blending the architectural styles of several Italian regions, including Venice, Tuscany, Florence and Portofino. Motifs incorporating popular Disney characters can be found throughout the hotel’s interior and exterior. Elegant Italian theming and design are combined with Disney-quality service to create an unrivaled guest experience that sets the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta apart from all other hotels in the world.
Due to its unique setting inside the ocean-inspired realm of Tokyo DisneySea Park, the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta was designed to reflect its location―Mediterranean Harbor, the Park’s gateway port. Italy was chosen as the hotel’s design theme because Italy has 7,600 kilometers of shoreline on the Mediterranean Sea and shares the rich nautical history and seafaring lore of the Mediterranean region. Italy is also well known for its tradition of extending a warm hospitality to its visitors.
The refined old-world theming continues inside the hotel where the interior gracefully incorporates Italian architecture and includes furnishings from the 1700s to the 1900s. Marble flooring and columns, rich dark woods, stained glass, murals and classic art work, brocade fabrics, and mosaic tile work are used extensively. And because the hotel is located inside the Tokyo DisneySea Park, a Disney character presence has been sprinkled throughout the interior décor.
The Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta offers 502 rooms and suited on five floors. Guest rooms and suites are divided into three types according to the side of the hotel on which they are located: Tuscany Side, Porto Paradiso Side and Venetian Side. Rooms on the Tuscany Side face the Park’s and hotel’s entrance, while the rooms on the other two sides face Mediterranean Harbor. Under the hotel’s “Twin Plus One” system, a complimentary trundle bed is provided in the majority of the rooms for the convenience of families and other groups. There are a total of 439 Superior Rooms, of which two are Accessible Rooms that can accommodate guests in wheelchairs, and 24 Triple Rooms. There are also 46 Speciale (Italian for “special”) Rooms and Suites. Room rates, categorized as Value, Regular, Peak and Top, vary by the day of the week and the time of year.
The Speciale Rooms and Suites are located on the second through the fifth floors of the hotel. Each offers luxurious accommodations and an impressive view. Guests may check in or out and enjoy other services, including welcome drinks in the exclusive Salone dell’Amico, the concierge lounge. Located on the fifth floor, this elegantly furnished concierge lounge with table seating affords a magnificent view of Mediterranean Harbor and Tokyo Bay.
