The exhibition, "Eiichiro Oda Kanshu. One Piece Exhibition: Genga x Eizo x Taikan no One Piece", will be held at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills, from March 20th to June 17th.
Yasutaka Nakata, the creator of countless hit songs, will be providing the theme song titled, "Panoramic Experience".
Yasutaka Nakata is famous for producing songs for Perfume and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, with Perfume's song, "Polyrhythm", being featured in the animation movie, "Cars 2". He's been in the public eye for quite some time, going back to 2004, when his group's song, "Portable Airport (Director Yoshiyuki Momose)" was featured in the "Ghibli ga ippai. Special Short Short" DVD.
Manga artist, Eiichiro Oda's "ONE PIECE"has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997. It was a huge hit as a TV anime, and volume 64, which was published last November, had a record initial print run of 4 million copies. "ONE PIECE", and its related products, are now responsible for 40% of Shueisha's total revenue.
The theme song will be used in the movie that will be shown at the exhibition's "Adventure Panorama Theater", and projection mapping is in the works. Projection mapping is where several projectors are used to create an illusion that the exhibition pieces are moving.
The song, "Panoramic Experience", will be available on iTunes from February 3rd. The CD is set to be sold exclusively at the exhibition.
