Masahiro Ushiyama (born 1959, Tokyo) is a 3D graphics artist.
His involvement with motion picture films began when he enrolled in a 3D computer graphics school at the age of 40. His first film in college was broadcast on a TV Asahi program called, "D's Garage 21".
His career as a 3D animator/creator took off when "Olivia Debut", his last assignment at the college, won the BS-i Award at TBS' DigiCon 3 competition in 2002.
His independent film, "R.S." won the Dabakan Award at the D-Competition 2004, and was selected for the "Excellent Works of Open Entry Motion Picture Division" at ASIAGRAPH 2007. "R.S." won yet another award at the Astro Design Movie Contest--THE MOVIE 2006. The revised version of "R.S." was made into a music video clip and renamed, "Control-Alt-Delete", winning the Music Clip Division Award at BroadStar Award 2007.
He also received the Character Designer division's Golden Award at the Unique Digital 3D CG Contest. His hand-drawn artwork made it into the 64th edition of the prestigious Nikaten art competition. In 2009 he participated in the "Creator's World" held at the Tokyo International Anime Fair.
