• Usagi TANAKA

  Usagi TANAKA, together with Sayako HIRATA, forms a creator group called "SCORT+," whose body of work revolves around character designs and short animation films for music videos.

  Their recent works span time lapse animations, including "The Mystery of the Rabbit`s Death" that was presented at the 2011 art event "Dedicate to Svankmajer," which was held in Tokyo and Kyoto.

  Past works of Usagi TANAKA have won award for excellence at the sixth edition of Japan Media Arts Festival, at Asiagraph 2008, and at Cyndi Lauper PV Contest. He is a member of Japan Animation Association (JAA).

Japanese animated cartoon, comic and game is highly appreciated in the world now and there are not a few people in the world who were strongly affected by Japanese animated cartoon and comic. The first TV animated cartoon exported is Osamu Tezuka’s “Astro Boy” and it was broadcasted in US in 1963.
Then innumerable animated cartoons crossed an ocean like “Doraemon”, “Pocket Monster”, “Sailor Moon”, “Dragon Ball” and “Duel Monsters”, and the word of anime, manga and cosplay became known in the world now. Everybody has at least one favorite among Japanese animated cartoon film, TV animated cartoon and comic, don’t they?
